On June 3 Li Jun member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of Bazhong Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning led a team to Tongjiang County to supervise preparations for the mid-term evaluation of the Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UNESCO Global Geopark and presided over a work meeting to advance the mid-term evaluation.

Li Jun stressed that Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UNESCO Global Geopark as Bazhong's first world-class hallmark plays an important role in promoting the integration of cultural and tourism development and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in the city. The municipal party committee and government have paid high attention to the mid-term evaluation given its importance to Bazhong. Li called for greater efforts to unify thinking deepen understanding and form synergy in accordance with the deployment requirements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government as well as the spirit of the relevant instructions of the municipal leaders. We need to advance our work according to relevant standards and schedules keep work records and strictly follow time nodes adopt a task cross-off system to carry out work steadily and thoroughly. Efforts will be made to coordinate the review of Guangwushan District and Nuoshuihe District museum exhibits and interpretation boards enhance the management of science education schools science education communities and promote information station upgrades and software data collation in Global Geopark for better unity and consistency. It is also necessary to conduct regular study on the difficulties and issues encountered in the current work and take the initiative to explore ways to expedite the progress of evaluation-related work.
