The 2018 Annual Meeting on China’s UNESCO Global Geoparks was held on November 5 to November 8 2018 in Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark Zhejiang Province.  Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Geopark was invited to attend this meeting as one of the newly approved UNESCO Global Geopark and engaged in active exchanges of ideas on construction development and management of Global Geoparks.

It is informed that this meeting which draws intense attention from all relevant administrations from the central government to the local ones is the first of its kind since the new round of structural reform of China's National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA) and of the shift of Geopark management to NFGA. This annual meeting receives around 300 people including delegates from candidate UNESCO Global Geoparks and old members of Global Geopark Network from China representatives of major departments of Geoparks on provincial and municipal level as well as numerous experts and scholars of interrelated fields.
