On June 19th Li Ying a member of standing committee and executive vice Mayor hosted a meeting to coordinate the creation work of Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Global Geopark for welcome the evaluators from UNESCO. Ke Ke vice Mayor attended the meeting.

During the meeting the responsible persons from Administration of Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Geopark Nanjiang Government and Tongjiang Government respectively gave a report about the working process for evaluation. After the briefing Li Ying stressed that all departments must fully recognize the importance of creating this geopark; creating this geopark and applying Micang Path as material cultural heritage is the basis of opening Bazhong’s window towards the world and an effective way to boost the fame of Bazhong thus everyone is working for the honor and the future of Bazhong.

For the next step Li Ying requested all sides must do work well in three aspects. First set the target and adjust the idea. All work done is to fully demonstrate the natural beauty of geopark to fully study and respect the UNESCO experts and their opinions to present everything naturally to improve pertinence for locating the direction and getting twice the result with half the effort. Second design carefully and choose the location. Completely change the mindset according to the criteria of UNESCO Global Geopark to the select lines and sites where the ecological recovery and environment are good. Third divide the labor and responsibility. Departments should strictly stick to the issued documents "Plan on Site Evaluation of Creating Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Global Geopark” and “Task Lists on Welcoming UGG Experts” to divide the labor and locate the time for better implementation. If there is problem in the work try to communicate with others or report to the leaders making sure that the mission is completed on time.
