In order to fulfil the ecological protection concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" , to actively publicize the biodiversity and unique geoheritage resources of Sichuan Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp and long cultural history of Bazhong city, to guide teachers and students to enhance the consciousness of protecting cultivated land and soil, to take on the responsibilities of beautiful countryside construction and rural revitalization, Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp management center and college of land science and technology of China Agricultural University jointly carried out a series of activities during the "12 · 5" World Soil Day,  such as science popularization in school, expert lecture, exhibiting Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp’s science popularization promotional video, geotourism brand "WELCOME TO BAZHONG" MV and the results of the geopark, Q&A and giving away books.

In this lecture, Su Dechen, chief expert in science popularization of Ministry of Natural Resources and researcher of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, was invited to make a keynote speech of "Knowing the beauty of mountains and rivers, knowing the reason of their beauty". In the speech, he showed Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp’s unique karst landform, granite landform, paleontological remains to over one hundred students, taught related scientific knowledge and encouraged the students to do scientific research in nature as much as possible.

Through professor Su's simple but profound, vivid and humorous explanation and science popularization books, the related knowledge was effectively instructed to the students, so that the seeds of ecological concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and the   beauty of Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp took root and grew in the hearts of students. Over 200 science popularization books, such as picture albums and scientific examination guides, and more than 1,000 communication materials, such as leaflets and tourist guides, were given as presents.

After the activity, the teachers and students of China Agricultural University who had participated in it expressed their yearning for the rich and peculiar geological and geomorphological landscape of Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp, as well as its long cultural history. The leaders and teachers of the college decided to organize students to carry out research and social practice activities in Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe UGGp in 2022, and strive to establish a teaching practice base in the park as soon as possible.
