In the afternoon of April 2 the Management Office of Sichuan Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Global Geopark as well as relevant persons in charge of Nanjiang County Forestry Bureau and Nanjiang County Geopark Administration worked together to set the construction and management visions of Nanjiang County Geopark. Relevant persons in charge of the Finance Division of the Bazhong Municipal Natural Resource and Planning Bureau and Bazhong Qinding Industry Co. Ltd. were invited.

At the symposium the Nanjiang County Geopark Management Bureau reported on the construction and management of the geopark after the institutional reform and the Bazhong Municipal Geopark Management Office announced the key work arrangements for the geopark in 2020. After that the participants discussed issues left by construction of the park such as the division of the debts and bonds of the museum building of main works supply of exhibition arrangement capital and maintenance and operation of the museum and proposed solution opinions and suggestions.

A consensus was eventually reached to ensure the World Geopark Museum an important window of China Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Global Geopark shall open to the public as usual. It is necessary to strengthen the protection of geological relics in the park and scientifically and rationally delimit the functional zones of the national geopark. The second is to continue to form a joint force to support the development of Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe Global Geopark to integrate into the tourism development in the whole region and boost the regional economic development. The third is to clarify responsibilities and improve the long-term mechanism. It is also necessary to foster the cooperation among the Bazhong Municipal Geopark Management Office Nanjiang County Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning Nanjiang County Forestry Bureau Nanjiang County Geopark Management Bureau Bazhong Qinding Industrial Company and the Tourism Company and establish a later-stage management maintenance and operation mechanism for the museum. The fourth is to comprehensively implement policies to find proper solutions. According to the principle of "respecting history and taking also into account reality" efforts will be made to categorize the issues by priority and difficulty pinpoint the problems and the basis properly resolve the remaining issues with the perseverance of a swallow endeavoring to make a nest and immediately contact relevant departments for solution if possible. Those remaining issues that cannot be solved right away need to be reported to the superior for orderly coordination and solution.
